2015 cultural day of central region ethnic groups

Under the theme “Ethnic groups in the Central region – United, preserving and promoting national cultural identity – contributing to sustainable development of the nation”, the event is expected to draw the participation of thirteen central provinces, including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien – Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.

It aims to raise the awareness of people, especially younger generations, to preserve and uphold the nation’s traditional cultural values, consolidate solidarity among Vietnamese ethnic groups, especially those in the central region, and popularise images of the country and people.

Diverse cultural activities such as folk games, art performances, introduction of special cultural identities, exhibition and show on traditional clothes will be held during the event./.
